Simply the Best Lyrics
E-mail from Joe McDonough 2011

Thanks Laurie, It did seem to be successful and Simply the Best Team certainly was one of reasons it was. Your support over all these years has been FANTASTIC and very much appreciated. You guys having that team has inspired all the others. Next year is the Tenth for your group, unbelievable. Thanks so much!!!!!

I have been hoping to clear $50,000 and I think we did it this year. Not all returns in yet, but looking good. See ya at the Country Club. Take care and THANKS again for all your hard work... Joe

Again this year "Site 39" will entertain us with live music
in the parking lot after the walk.

In the blink of an eye ....
It's now been 9 short years since we've lost a family member - we'll always
miss you Janet, you have made a huge impact on more people than any of
us will ever know.

How many babies were born? Where have our travels taken us? How many
of our children have graduated high school/college/married/moved on?

Janet’s Garden
Is Simply the Best

       By Joel Haggerty

There’s a garden in the mountains

Where thoughts and memories bloom

Throughout the year a beauty

A gift of Janet’s life to share

The summer garden warms the heart

With beautiful greens and hues

A reminder of the one we lost

Oh, that August day of gloom

The fall garden brings us color

So wonderful as life

That when one rests amongst the leaves

It’s a garden of delight

The winter garden rests the solstice

A bed of winter snow

Above the ground and frozen brooks

The Ski Mill abounds with love

The spring garden is renewing

As growth comes from the earth

A reminder of shared friendship

Of life and love and mirth
